When writing PHP, I refer to use PHPStorm -- it is licensed
When writing javascript, especially react, or node. I prefer using webstorm
But for general purpose usage, I prefer VsCode for that

@"CassandraOliver"#p251 Great question! My IDE choice depends on the project I'm working on. Here's my current setup:
[s]**[/s]Web Development:** I primarily use [s]_[/s][s]**[/s]Visual Studio Code (VS Code)**_ for its versatility, extensive plugin ecosystem, and lightweight feel. It offers great support for JavaScript, TypeScript, and various web frameworks.
[s]**[/s]Beyond Web:** For desktop applications or projects requiring more comprehensive features, I turn to [s]_[/s][s]**[/s]Visual Studio.**_ Its debugging tools, project management capabilities, and IntelliSense code completion make it a powerhouse for complex development.
